23.03.2009 : In Kyrgyzstan the ex-deputy of parliament is taken into custody for a period of 15 days.
Today socialist party "Ata-Meken" informs on it. According to the organization, «ex-member of parliament Zamir Parmankulov actively participating in all oppositional actions, is involved by court in administrative arrest for 15 days for statements of the position in dispute on a condition of the present power in Kyrgyzstan». However opposition is worried that «in spite of the fact that term of serving of punishment has expired on March 12th 2009, Zamir Parmankulov is still not free». Under the data of "Ata-Meken", the basis for this purpose was the decision of the judge of Osh city court from March 6th according to which earlier detained the preventive punishment in the form of arrest is selected and is appointed in Osh on criminal case of five years' prescription». Besides that Zamir Parmankulov before (on February 20th 2004) was brought to an accusation under article 234 of Criminal code of eR "Hooliganism". According to lawyers of party, in connection with the declared amnesty the act of Zamir Parmankulov made five years ago, fall under amnesty, and the criminal case raised in 2004 is subject to the termination. The opposition already declares that «the illegal certificate of court about arrest of ex-deputy Zhogorku Kenesh is a next legal lawlessness concerning the far-outer and the objectionable politician». Also 19th of March 14 supporters of party were arrested for spreading propaganda posters and leaflets with an appeal to participate on meeting which is planned on 27th of March. Nevertheless Incorporated National Movement (INM) has obtained from the authorities of Bishkek the official permit to carry out a peace meeting, the party «Ata Meken» has informed on March 19th. Mass meeting plans to spend on March 27th in square of park M.Gorkiy. We will remind that there are 6 opposition parties in the INM.
