In Sverdlovsk RDIA of Bishkek applied tortures to pregnant woman
On severe beating of pregnant woman by employees of Sverdlovsk department of  2ю
internal affairs of capital informs human rights center «Kylym Shamy».
On January, 8th, 2008, the Sverdlovsk district  court has made a decision on
election of a preventive punishment in the form of the arrest of Asel
Muratova,she was arrested two days ago by employees of militia on suspicion in
murder. Employees of Sverdlovsk RDIA on January, 6th have detained and
delivered her  in a building of militia. To the arrested person were apllied
severe measures, they  forced her to admit a crime: «beat on a head, on a
breast, having put on her head a polyethylene bag smothered her,  having
undressed, tried to apply the perverted form of violence », - inform human
rights activists. Employees of human rights center declare, that to her did not
give an opportunity to call not only to the lawyer, but also to relatives whom
she wanted to ask to wathc for her  nine-monthly son. « In the end, she was
compelled  to writean explanatory under dictation », - is spoken in the
message.
Employees of the center «Kylym shamy» and lawyer Sartbaj Zhajchibekov, have
found out about A.Muratova's detention on January, 8th from her mother who has
called in office of center.  In the investigatory cell where  has taken place
a meeting of the arrested person with human rights activists, they wrote an
act, in which have fixed the bruises found on her body.
« Kylym shamy» has directed applications  to Office of Public Prosecutor of
Sverdlovsk area, and to committee concerning legality and constitutionalities
of parliament KR, addressed to Alisher Mamasaliev on the fact of the applied
tortures. Legal experts mark, that only owing to persistence of deputy Alisher
Mamasaliev, urgently arrived in RDIA, was called the first aid for A.Muratova,
who complained on strong pain in a breast.  Doctors also have fixed hematomas
on A.Muratova's body.
As A.Muratova told to human rights activists, in cabinet 22 militiamen  began to
put physical and psychological pressure, forcing to admit that she made this
crime. She refused. « After that they have tumbled me down on a floor, held my
legs, beat on a head, on a breast.  Also they strongly pressed on knees and
have started to undress her, threatened to thrust in her a plastic bottle. « It
was done by employee of RDIA by name Seitke or Syimyk». On her head have endowed
a polyethylene package and smothred about 10 times, forcing to give
indications.
On January, 8th, 2007, took place the court  session which  considered the
decision of the inspector about application of a preventive punishment in the
form of the arrest for the period of investigation. Legal experts approve, that
the court passed in the closed mode, and has ended approximately at 8 in the
evening . And at present time Muratova is in female Investigatory Insulator.



  The actions "I do not believe" continue … despite of arrests and threats.

KCHR repeatedly informed before New Year holidays about arrests of active
workers of  youth NGO's and human rights activists for carrying out of the
action "I do not believe..." which protested against falsificated results of
parliamentary elections, according to  which was created one-party parliament.
Formally in parliament there are  registered 3-parties, but other parties have
no influence .
10/01-2008 In capital of Kyrgyzstan continue to detain active workers of the
action « I do not believe… ». The co-chairman of an alliance of liberal youth «
Free generation » <irsuljan Namazaliev informs on this.
On his data, at night from January 9 to 10th, 2008 were detained Joomart
Saparbaev, Aichurek Mamatkadyrova (19 years), Arslan Sharshenaliev (19 years),
and UUljan Nogoibaeva (15 years) by group of capture that protected building of
Parliament.
Employees of patrol-sentry duty militia motivated it with that on the square
adjoining to Zhogorku Kenesh (parliament) and in the building of parliament are
stuck leaflets  « I  do believe », that ostensibly qualified as hooliganism.
Having kept children some time in building of ZK, them have brought in May Day
RDIA. There they have been compelled to write explanatory and  to sign the
report. From them have withdrawn about 500 leaflets with an inscription « I do
not believe… », personal things of one of participants of the action. According
to one of inspectors, « now will take place the next court above them, but
already on charge in hooliganism » .
Organizers of the action « I do not believe… » inform, that in all city of
Bishkek in the places established and not forbidden by the law leaflets with a
similar inscription are stucked. « Attempts to frighten us, on the contrary,
lead to rallying », - young men mark.
