People suffered from earthquake are discontent because of lack of help from
authorities. At the same time officials drive expensive cars

It is usual that Kyrgyz officials have cars that cost 40-50 thousand US dollars.
People are discontent that officials buy for themselves such expensive cars
using money from the budget of the country. And 55 deputies of parliament
bought Toyota-Camry for 22 thousand US dollars.

The main sign of being a Kyrgyz official is – having an expensive car with state
identification numbers.
Ex-governor of Naryn oblast Kemel Ashyraliev  thinks that state officials
compete with each other by buying an expensive cars.

- how life of people can become better when every official buys a car not worse
than a presidents. Of course such actions become usual, as a rule for our
people. The officials try to create for themselves very comfortable conditions.
For example they have an opportunity to buy expensive cars, to travel abroad for
budgetary money.

If you visit state garage you will not find there “Volga”, the car that was
popular during soviet times. There are only foreign and expensive cars. So
let’s talk about cars. The minister of Ecology and Emergency Control Ministry
Kamchybek Tashiev drives jeep Toyota-Prado. And minister of agriculture
Arstanbek Nogoev drives  Toyota-Camry. The minister of Defense Ismail Isakov
and minister of Culture and Information Sultan Raev drive Mercedes.

The head of state TV channel Melis Eshimkanov drives an expensive Audi.

Head of Social fund Marat Sultanov drives jeep Toyota-Prado.  The ex minister of
internal affairs Bolotbek Nogoibaev has two cars: Nissan-Terrana and  Mercedes.

Some  governors of oblasts have several cars. For example, governor of Issykkul
oblast Kydykbek Isaev has jeep for traveling in mountains and Mercedes-600 for
motor ways. And governor of Osh oblast Aaly Karashev has jeep Toyota-Prado and
Mercedes-500.

The governors of other oblasts have cars not worse than at their colleagues. But
we do not have much time to talk about all of them.
And sons of presidents Marat and Maxim almost every week change their expensive
cars on more expensive cars.

The  deputies of previous parliament ordered for themselves new Toyota-Camry at
price 22 000 US dollars for one, but not all of them had time to drive them.
The head of state garage Seitbek Omurbekov informed that, for now arrived 55
Toyota-Camry, 45 of them are given to deputies. Owners of these cars became:
the oldest deputy Beishebek Akunov, three assistants of speaker, heads of 12
committees, leaders of 3 fractions and 23 women deputies. Also these cars were
given to deputies that famous by their previous merits - artist of Kyrgyzstan
Kerim Turapov, 7 times champion of world in boxing Orzubek Nazarov, famous
surgeon Ernist Akramov.

The deputy of parliament Begaly Nazarov condemn the desire of state officials to
drive expensive cars. According to him some members of government having 2-3
cars, demand cars for their families.
- the means that are spent to keep these cars are much  more than salaries of
staff of such officials. This is not good. We can not agree with this.

As noted the deputy the special means  that are given out from the budget should
be under strong control. Our budget consisting from taxes collected from people
is not for fun and comfortable life of officials.

In our country there are 6,5 thousand of state vehicles that are used by
officials. For keeping this amount of cars state spend 650 million soms every
year.
