31.07.2008 : On July 19, 2008 Kurmanbek Bakiev, the President of Kyrgyz Republic (KR) appointed the deputy to the chairman of Chui oblast court of KR.

The press-service of the President announced that K.Bakiev in accordance with subparagraph 3 of paragraph 2 of article 46 and paragraph 6 of article 83 of the Constitution signed a decree about appointment of Keneshbek Toktomambetov for a position of a Judge of the local court for 5 years. Toktomambetov during his duty as a public prosecutor of Pervomayskyi rayon prosecuted the right defender Dyryldaev by fabricating criminal case against him in April 2000 and in July authorized arrest after his government report at the Committee for Human Rights where Dyryldaev together with other partners presented alternative report. After that Dyryldaev stayed abroad involuntarily.

With other decree the President of KR in accordance with subparagraph 3 of paragraph 6 of article 83 of the KR Constitution, Keneshbek Toktomambetov is appointed as the deputy to the chairman of Chui oblast court for 5 years.

Note: Keneshbek Toktomambetov was born on Noveber 5th 1956. Previously, he was a Judge at Bishkek city court.
