The Office of Public Prosecutor involves criminal proceedings the human rights defender who has given publicity to the facts of tortures on the part of employees of militia.

On March 20 the human rights organization "Validity" in Djalalabad area, has held information assembly devoted to tortures. On which chairman of the NGO "Air" Azimjan Askarov has told that he protects human rights and that for his activity he tests pressure on the part of employees of Bazarkurgon regional militia and Office of Public Prosecutor. In 2003 A.Askarov has given publicity to the facts of affair of Zulhumor Tohtonazarova who was exposed to tortures and rapes in the Investigator Isolator, she had under nails entered needles, as a result of rapes she has become pregnant, and when there has come term, during sorts employees of militia not have have not taken off the handcuffs from her hands … For that he has published a number of articles about tortures used by militiamen, in the relation of the human rights defender of criminal case according to article 127 of the Criminal code of KR has been opened.
