Upon a non-staff employee of "24.kg" in the city of Karakol (Kyrghyzstan) puts constant pressure

 

On non-staff employee of "24.kg" in the city of Karakol (Kyrghyzstan), the editor of local « New newspaper » Sergey Vysotskyi is put constant pressure. He has told about it today after arrival to Bishkek.

 

As he said, he receives calls with threats constantly. Unknown people suggest to stop illumination of the negative events occuring in the regional center, performances of opposition and its supporters. From whose submission « telephone well-wishers » operate, in his opinion it is done by power structures.

 

As Sergey Vysotskyi has noted, periodically the office of his newspaper is visited by employees of local division of the State committee of national safety who are interested in work of the edition. According to the editor of " New newspaper », being in Bishkek, he is going to inform on the problems of representation of the international organizations engaged in protection of human rights and a freedom of speech.
