Lawyer Ikramidin Aitkulov: “ Organizers of meeting of Intercorporated Front of Kulov should transfer ostensibly "provokers" to law enforcement bodies, instead of subject to torture

 

Bishkek, 16/04/2007Bishkek, I believe, that some organizers so-called “ termless meeting ” on central square "AlaToo" Bishkek, obviously, in rush of the political ambitions, having trambled rights protected by the law and Zheenbekov B.S.'s interests, without anyones on that of the lawful bases within several hours kept him in the connected condition ”, - has declared today to correspondent of "KÀÁÀR" lawyer of B.Zheenbekov Ikramidin Aitkulov.

“ Today I have addressed with the petition to general public prosecutor E.Satybaldiev and Minister of Internal Affairs B.Nogoibaev about necessity of the decision of a question on excitation of criminal case concerning organizers of meeting on central square "AlaToo" Bishkek ”, - have noted I.Aitkulov.

According to the lawyer, participants of meeting not only kept B.Zheenbekov in the connected condition, but also subjected to his violence, the reference severe and humiliating human advantage.

“ So, after beating in one of yurts in the square "AlaToo" of B.Zheenbekov in the connected condition, as if the criminal, have taken him out on a stage before many thousands of crowd and without everyones on that of the lawful bases, humiliating and causing inexpressible moral sufferings, have made cross-questioning. Thus it is directly on a stage were the beatings and all this is fixed on videofilming ”, - has emphasized the lawyer.

In the petition of lawyer B.Zheenbekov it is spoken about necessity to establish who is concrete from organizers of meeting has made the decision illegally to keep Baatyr Zheenbekov within several hours on the square "AlaToo" instead of in due time transferring competent bodies if counted his made any crime. Also the lawyer demands to understand, who has made the decision to take him out in the connected condition and to make humiliating interrogation.

It is necessary to note, that the given acts of organizers of meeting fall under 2 part of 111 article of Criminal Code (torture). (N.Anarkulov)

People who are holding the meeting are aggressively adjusted to journalists, correspondents of AKIpress observing of last political events on central square Ala-Too in Bishkek speak about it.

 

Yesterday and today 2 correspondents of Akipress have undergone to interrogation on the part of holding meeting, demanding the answer to a question, what TV they represent channels and news agencies. « We were held for beiges which hang on our necks, that all journalists are selling, that we film and we transfer only drunk and dust, and that journalists are used by the state bodies », - correspondents transfer. Intervention of coordinators of meeting from main yurt has allowed to film a pressure.

 

It is necessary to note, that after yesterday's fight near the House of trade unions, participants of meeting with mistrust concern both to militia, and to representatives of mass-media.

 

Details of incident on the fact of beating of journalist of "24.kg"

- The press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrghyzstan informs on details of incident on the fact of beating of journalist Aziz Egemberdiev "24.kg".

As the press-service informs, on April 14, 2007 from the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of capital at 19.00 in an on duty part of May Day city of Regional Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek a telephone message received that in National hospital of KR a 28-year old Aziz Egemberdiev living in the city of Bishkek has been delivered.

In National hospital investigatory - operative group of Maisk Department of Internal Affairs left. On arrival by employees of militia it has been established, that on square Ala-Too, near the house of the Government, there was a fight between people who are holding the meeting. Further A.Egemberdiev has explained, that he works as the journalist in news agency "24.kg" and collected the information on internet sites since April 11, 2007. In the evening on April 14 he was on the main square Ala-Too, having seen a group of fighting people near the White house, the journalist has directed to them.

Coming closer, A.Egemberdiev has noticed, that two guys are beeing beaten by several people, naming them provokers. Soon they were withdrawn in one of the yurts. Approaching them, A.Egemberdiev began to film an event on a cellular telephone and to transfer this information. During this moment the group of people has approached him (approximately 10-15 people) and surrounded him, started to beat. Soon, people have come running to a place of fight in a camouflage which have pushed aside of the attackers and have allocated the journalist in the nearest another yurt. He is beaten, by those who was in this yurt, - informs the press-service.

After a while A.Egemberdiev has left from yurt and has gone to his work. Employees of "24.kg", having seen the injured colleague have caused "First aid" which have delivered him in national hospital of Bishkek.

The given fact is registered in the book of the account of incidents of the Maisk Internal Affairs of the capital under ¹ 1507 from 14.04.2007. Now corresponding investigatory and operative - search actions are carried out. Medicolegal examination is appointed. Materials of the happened fact are at the inspector of the Maisk Regional Department of Internal Affairs the senior lieutenant of militia Abdyldaev.

One of participants of hunger-strike has died

The member of Incorporated front Melis Eshimkanov informed, that one of participants of political action of hunger-strike 53-year old B.Akunov, native of Naryn area, father of eight children has died. B.Akunov participated in the action of hunger-strike from April 5 till April 11, 2007, has got in hospital 3 days ago

The member of movement « For reforms » Temir Sariev, appearing on stage of square Ala-Too, informed some details about circumstances of death of the participant of hunger-strike Bektemir Akunov.

As he said, Minister of Internal Affairs Bolotbek Nogoibaev has sent the answer to his inquiry in which it is spoken, that B.Akunov ostensibly after the ending of the action hunger-strike has arrived to Naryn. In Naryn Akunov has gone to mayor of city and governor Zhyrgylbek Azylov, and has told him, that people are going against authority, having offered them to leave voluntary in resignation.

« Officials have caused militia, in result Akunov was sent to the city of Naryns Department of Internal Affairs for an administrative offence. For the morning he has been found in the chamber hung up on own shirt », - has told Sariev.

By T.Sariev's words, brother of Bektemir Akunov, has declared, that father of 8 children never would go on a suicide. At present inspection on presence of physical injuries at B.Akunov is carried out.

 

Broadcasting companies NTS (Kyrghyzstan) threaten journalists by physical violence

On April 14, 2007 - the fourth day of meeting of opposition in capital of Kyrghyzstan - will be remembered to many journalists, both local, and foreign. Only for two hours while the column of demonstrators has walked a march up to a building of the state broadcasting company and back to the square Ala - Òîî, have suffered journalist of "24.kg" Aziz Egemberdiev, a film crew of the Russian telechannel of NTV, and to the press photographer of the newspaper « the Word of Kyrghyzstan » Nina Gorshkova tried to break a camera.

Probably, the attack on employees of telechannel NTS on April 12 on the square Ala - Òîî should become the first signal to that representatives of opposition and a management of the country should provide to journalists safety. But incident and has remained unnoticed (about it did not inform any of telechannels - not only foreign, but even local), and NTS now leave on the square (work is work) accompanied by protection and under personal observation of general director Baktygul Zheenbaeva. « I am worried very much for the employees to whom already threaten in broad daylight », - have explained the compelled presence on meeting of opposition the head of Broadcasting Company.

By words of Baktygul Jeenbaeva, on April 13 the film crew was at building of GTRK where the column holding a meeting any minute should approach. At this time the white jeep from which has stepped out a man of average years of the Asian appearance has approached on them. He has approached the correspondent and has asked: « Are you from NTS? ». After the affirmative answer he has told: « Or you will leave from here, or we are going to … (the obscene word follows according to director.). Journalists have been compelled to return to edition.

Perhaps, someone will bite: and why supposedly workers to a feather and a microphone, usually impudent and confident, in such cases do not address in militia? Kulov at small quantity of holding a meeting demands the president immediately to leave in resignation »

The leader of the Incorporated front of opposition « For the worthy future of Kyrghyzstan » Feliks Kulov has held today press conference in Bishkek. The reason for urgent press conference became the fight which has occurred yesterday during procession of an oppositional column on city.

Feliks Kulov has declared, that the opposition has changed the requirements and is going to achieve immediate resignation of the head of the state. The opposition in the person of "front-line soldiers" and the members which have adjoined them of movement « For reforms » is going to achieve formation of the government of the national consent which can provide carrying out of the constitutional reform and early election of the president.

By words of Feliks Kulov, the decision to change the requirement is connected to threat of recurrences of provocations against supporters of opposition. « Provokers who are detained during meeting, are inhabitants of southern areas of Kyrghyzstan who were brought here specially. Among them and the unemployed employed for performance of the purposes, favourable to authorities, - quotes words of Feliks Kulov ÈÀ "24.kg" <http://www.24.kg/>. - In reply to our requirements which performance we intended to achieve in the peace way, authorities in person of Kurmanbek Bakiev, his henchmen and brothers have decided to go on provocation. At one of our supporters the automobile is burnt, there were attempts to provoke mass fights. Threats sound to address of families of our supporters. In what have resulted these actions? To that yesterday the country appeared on the verge of a regional opposition and has closely come nearer to that condition which can be named civil war ».

According to the leader of opposition, authority of the country prepare for a new series of provocations with participation of employees of special services, including special division " Alpha ". As informed Feliks Kulov, special services are ready to arrest a number of members of the Incorporated front and Movement « For reforms! ». Also undertake attempts to pull together in capital the criminal elements for physical violence above supporters of opposition.

« Among our supporters there are provokers, - has declared also F.Kulov. According to the leader of "front-line soldiers", provokers were found even among those who took part in termless protest action and remains for the night in yurts, established on central sauare of Kyrghyzstan. As he said, these people persuaded others to leave a place of protest action, offering for it money.

In the meantime, the fifth day of the termless meeting organized by Incorporated front of opposition of Kyrghyzstan on the town's square near the building of Jogorku Kenesh (parliament of Kirghizia), passes easy. A social order on the area round the clock provide more than five hundred employees of militia.

Let's remind, yesterday in mass fight on the area has suffered about twelve people. The central administrative board of internal affairs of Bishkek excits criminal case on the fact of attempts to organize fights during termless meeting opposition. By employees of militia three young people which testify are detained.
