Two employees of a local bureau of the Interpol are sentenced to imprisonment

 

Two employees of the Tadjik bureau of the Interpol are sentenced to 5,5 and 6,5 years of prison, informs

Court of Sogd area of Tadjikistan has recognized their guilty in excess of official powers and swindle.

and Shahobiddin Ahmedov have been detained in the beginning of December, 2006 during the moment reception of a bribe from inhabitant of Sogd area Saihmad Hasanov. Last was accused in rape.

For that criminal prosecution has been stopped, Soliev

and Ahmedov have demanded from him ten thousand dollars. However, as marks agency, they managed to receive only one thousand dollars and a gold chain, after that they were detained by employees of Office of Public Prosecutor.

To the condemned employees of the Interpol the court also has forbidden to work in law enforcement bodies within five years after they will leave on freedom.

In Kyrgyzstan Interpol appeared in the center of scandal in connection with oppositional deputy Omurbek Tekebaev, having enclosed drugs to his luggage at airport. The Deputy has been arrested in Poland. As was informed by police of Poland they learned about drugs from Interpol of Kazahstan.
