Today on July 30, the house on str. Sovietskaya, where lives the leader of NGO "Democracy" Tursun Islam was blocked from the outside. It was found out by Tursun Islam himslef when he early in the morning having woken up intended to open external doors of the house. When he has looked through the window he saw that from the outside the door is locked up with big padlock. In the house except for Tursun Islam were his wife and son. Today Tursun Islam planned with other active workers of his organization to carry out picket against withdrawal of army of anti-terrorist coalition from Bishkek that is located in airport Manas and against carrying out in Kyrgyzstan of summit SOC. The summit of Shanghai Organization for Cooperation which will pass in Bishkek from August 16 of the current year. On belief of active workers of "Democracy" and KCHR, at the last time the Federal Service of Security of RUSSIA became more active and forces condition in region, demanding withdrawal of army of anti-terrorist coalition, to stop up democratic promotion in Central Asia. Especially in this are interested governments of China, Russia and Uzbekistan. These countries are members of SOC . KCHR recieved trustworthy information, that employees of FSS tried to bribe some leaders of NGO's, to make them carry out meetings against army of coalition. On belief of many NGO's presence of army of coalition stabilize condition in region.

Headed by Tursun Islam - human rights organization represents Uigur minority

in Central Asia and defends rights of Uigur minority and for it frequently exposed to persecutions and threats from the side of specail services of Kyrgyzstan. Now active workers of "Democracy" tries to release family of Tursun Islam from an imprisonment in own house. On belief of Tursun Islam and members of his family the given action against family of Tursun Islam was organized by special services of Kyrgyzstan to prevent carrying out of meeting by him. Earlier we informed that Tursun Islam was locked up in his own house by special services. Later active workers of his organization released him, after that he went to the planned meeting with his son Alisher Islamov and collegues. At the meeting he and his son were arrested by employees of Lenin district RDIA of Bishkek city. At present time he is under arrest. They are under threat of opening of criminal case against them, after which they will be imprisonet. There is information that other active workers of "Democracy" are arrested too, unfortunately we do not have their names yet. Islamov's father and son were arrested near the embassy of USA, on the street Mira.
