New mayor of Bishkek, recently appointed by Bakiev in every possible way limits the rights of citizens to peace meetings and demonstrations.

So on regular session of the Bishkek parliament the mayoralty of capital of Kyrgyzstan, brings a question on the statement of rules of carrying out in a city of meetings and pickets

On regular session of Bishkek city council,  which is planned for November, 30th, the capital mayoralty submits for consideration of deputies a question on the statement of rules of carrying out in a city of meetings,  processions, demonstrations and pickets. It it is declared today at presidium of CC.  

As earlier it was informed, the mayor of Bishkek Daniyar Usenov several times suggested to create in capital on crossing of prospectuses of Molodaya Gvardiya  and Zhibek-Zholu a special place for carrying out of every possible protest actions. He also noticed, that has given the corresponding task to employees of «Bishkek general architecture». Town-planners should make the estimate of expenses on the organisation of the prospective platform for such performances.

«It is necessary to regulate rules of carrying out of a different sort of actions in city territory. For example, for carrying out of a different sort of pickets, it is necessary to notify the mayoralty, but also we should include a rule about notifying  for 10 days before, who is organizer, of what character and other rules», - has told the lawyer of the mayoralty of the city of Bishkek, answering a question of city deputies, what for the rules about carrying out of such actions in Bishkek are brought
