On the eve of election authorities with help of supporting NGO’s try to
eliminate other known and independent NGO

Against Coalition was brought an action with demand to suspend its activity and
arrest accounts. About it informs director of Coalition “for democracy and
civil society” Dinara Oshurahunova.

Action is brought by representatives of Public Organizations “Edinenie” (unity)
(pro-governmental NGO) Nurgazy Narynbaev and “Nezavisimye uchenye yuristy”
(independent scientist lawyers) Taalaibek Shalmurzaev.

Essence of action – accusation of Coalition in preparing and distributing of
information material, infringing the rights of citizens.
Coalition is accused of  misleading the citizens, in connection with this, in
opinion of plaintiffs, local electoral commissions can become victims of mass
conflict situations.

In leaflets, distributed by coalition, exist mistake that voters can be included
to ancillary list at the day of voting, whereas it is made according to special
coupon.

Besides suspending the activity and arrest of accounts, plaintiffs demand from
court to oblige Coalition to recognize rough mistake and make refutation. Also
plaintiffs  want to oblige coalition and Center OSCE to apologize in Mass media
for preparing and distributing of   deliberately false information. Another
demand is – oblige Coalition to recall all leaflets with mistakes. If it is
impossible, oblige Coalition to release the same number of leaflets with
refutation.

This action was brought to Pervomaiski district  court of Bishkek on Saturday
December 8, in the evening. And the court session was appointed to Monday
December 10, at 10 in the morning
