Chronicle of election campaign to parliament KR

yesterday on December 11 2007, in Osh were beaten 3 members of party "Ata
Meken", informs press-service of the party.
as informs press-service, yesterday at 18:00 4 unknown men attacked 3 members of
party, which were carrying agitation leaflets of party "Ata Meken".

besides,  staff of the party received information about threats from the part of
local law enforcement bodies  to address of head of area  staff of party "Ata
Meken" in Osh oblast Zuura Akmatova and head of staff of party in Karasuu area
Elgam Keldibaev,- infoms press-service.

Doctor Jenishbek Nazaraliev withdrawn his candidature from pre -election “race”
to parliament of Kyrgyzstan
About it he informed on press conference.
He decided to do it, because he is sure that results of voting will be
falsificated. “I declare boycott to this elections,- declared Jenishbek
Nazaraliev.- to play according to rules dictated by authorities,- is like
betraying people. I call all nationals as true  citizens of the  country not to
vote for any party”.
Jenishbek Nazaraliev was candidate to deputies from party “Asaba”. Earlier
Jenishbek Nazaraliev addressed to other parties with the same call. But he did
not found support.
“script of this parliament elections is written by authorities, and result is
predetermined,- underlined Jenishbek Nazaraliev. – invest money to election
campaign, to lose is silly”. Also he noticed that, as candidate to deputies he
could not inform about his goals and tasks people, as information channels were
closed for him.

of Doctor J. Nazaraliev about boycott of elections to Zhogorku Kenesh on
December 16 2007 and voluntary withdraw  candidature from pre-election race.

dear friends! Today I want to declare my decision, which was for me very
difficult. I decided to boycott elections to parliament and withdraw my
candidature from election race. What are the reasons? First of all, on December
16 will take place mass falsifications during voting at the initiative of
authorities. Script of this parliamentary elections is written by authorities
and its resul is predetermined. To Zhogorku Kenesh will pass  only those
parties which possibly already arranged everything with authorities.  And it is
obvious that “controlling stock” will be given to presidential party “Ak Jol”.
Authorities using force make people enter their party and vote for it. They
threat and beat members of oppositional parties. They rob houses and destroy
advertisement hoardings. They use militia, to stop work of staffs in regions.
Our political scientist and other experts ask: “why the election campaign is so
inert, why there are no bright political publicity?”. But the answer is obvious!
They almost closed single national channel NTRC, so that we could not inform
people about our goals and tasks.
participate in elections according to script of authorities – means to lose
deliberately, but the main thing – it means betray the interests of people. You
know that on December 4 party “Asaba” already made a statement on this, in
which it called political powers to unite and boycott elections.  However any
party supported this call.
So, it is absolutely clear that at new parliament and this authority – country
and society will stay in poverty and in  deadlock. In future for us wait not
social progress and  economical prosperity,-  but feudalism…

That is why, I doctor Nazaraliev voluntary withdraw my candidature from
pre-election race and declare boycott to this elections, with call to all
nationals, as to true citizens of the country not to vote on December 16 for
any party. To play  according to rules dictated by authorities,- is betraying
people!

Pervomay district administration not allowed SDPK to organize a meeting in
Bishkek.
Pervomay district administration of mayoralty of Bishkek refused to SDPK
organize a meeting on December 14 in park with purpose of electoral agitation.
As inform in  administration, received notice was considered, but permission
was not given in connection with part 2.2 of Decision of Bishkek City Council
#385 from December 5  2007 “about rules of passing in Bishkek meetings,
demonstrations, manifestations and other actions” notice about organizing
action shoul be submitted for 10 before meeting.
