Acting as governor of Jalal-Abad area has declared, that will go on the other post "only with the consent of people".

Jalal-Abad - on January, 20th, 2006 acting as governor of Jalal-Abad area Jusup Jeenbekov has held press conference with representatives of mass-media, to whom has informed his point of view on an event around of a post of the Head of the regional state administration and has answered questions of journalists.

In particular Z.Jeenbekov has declared, that he has not learned the reason of the dismissal from a post of the governor of area. Also he has noted, that one day prior to events on January, 19th argued by phone with the brother of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jusup Bakiev, who, according to Z.Jeenbekov, " has tried to interfere with business of regional authorities " and "has received sharp repulse " from acting as the governor.

Answering a question on the possible offer of higher post, Z.Jeenbekov has answered: " I do not choose a post. I shall work there, where I can. But only with the consent of people. If people will be against, I shall refuse any post offered by heads of the country ".

Making comments on probability of recurrence of destiny of the ex-governor of the Osh area Anvar Artykov, Z.Jeenbekov has told: " If authorities wish to see me in opposition then I can be in opposition ".

Let's add, that, according to Z.Jeenbekov, during today's telephone conversation with President of Kyrgyz Republic Kurmanbek Bakiev, last has told, that he (Z.Jeenbekov, - a comment of agency «AKI press)will continue to act as governor of Jalal-Abad area till January, 26th, until will be solved a question with his work.
