The public prosecutor has demanded to sentence Nodira Hidoyatova to 12 years imprisonment.

Yesterday, on February, 17th, in the Tashkent city court have ended debate within the frames of judicial hearing on criminal case, concerning Nadira Hidoyatova, the coordinator of oppositional party "the Solar coalition", whom the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Uzbekistan accuses of crimes of economic character.

The state prosecutor G.Davletov, insisting that fault of defendant is completely proved, has demanded to sentence her to 12 years of imprisonment. The lawyer of defendant O.Babenko, in turn, has paid attention of court that fault of her client is not proved absolutely, and all reasons of charge are under construction not on the facts and documents, but on proofless applications of witnesses, in this connection she asks to recognize her innocent and to release.
According to people, present at session, when the public prosecutor has read the accusatory speech, he has some times noted, that Nodira Hidoyatova has recognized the fault. However, herself , defendant has declared, that she did not recognize any fault and objects to similar jugglings: " I did not recognize the fault, you can not tell lie! " The public prosecutor, not listening, has looked down and continued to read further. After his speech, Nodira Hidoyatova has told: " I, certainly, understand all, but give me better the high measure of punishment. I want, that me have shot, because I do not wish to live in such state ".

About what decision will accept court under presidency of Zokirjon Isaev , will be known in a week: adjudgment is appointed to February, 24th.

Some hours prior to announcement of a position of the state prosecutor, edition of informational agency "Fergana.ru" received the information that in Tashkent fund of support of the coordinator of " Solar coalition " of Uzbekistan Nodira Hidoyatova can be created.
