The statement of the Kyrgyz committee for human rights.
Kyrgyz people for a long time is friends of Russia which is recognized
as the strategic partner and expects the adequate attitude.
As a result of national revolution on March, 24th, 2005 the ex-president
of Kyrgyzstan Askar Akaev , being afraid of just anger of people which
has risen against the tyrant, has run away from the country, using
thus a military air base of the Russian Federation located in the
Kyrgyz city Kant , by the Russian military plane.For the first time
acknowledgement is received officially. On it informs MIGnews.com.ua.
According to Kanatbek Kumushbekov, the former chief of a department
of personal protection of Akaev, on flying away of Akaev has insisted
the commander of air base, and then, the runaway head of the state
at airport "Domodedovo " was met by the Federal protection
service of the Russian Federation and "someone from the high-rank
persons ".
According to his words, Akaev intended "to held consultation
with a management of the Russian Federation, as it is the basic strategic
partner of Kyrgyzstan ". These actions of the government contradict
the aims and tasks of partnership and friendship of two people. The
present Russian government not only promoted flight of Akaev, and
his family, but also continues to cover family of Akaev , doing so,
promotes their leaving from the responsibility, from fair justice.
We remember also statements-threats to address of opposition of Minister
of Defence of Russia before revolution.
All this testifies to intervention of Russia in internal affairs of
Kyrgyzstan. All this is aggravated by use of military forces, which
is fraught with the further complications in mutual relations between
two brother people.
Such actions of militarians of Russia cause mistrust and compels to
put under doubt the true purposes of location of a military contingent
on territory of Kyrgyzstan, which is called to protect from the external
enemy. Where a guarantee of that militarians will not support the
modes, similar Akaev’s.
We hope, that new government of Kyrgyz Republic will demand an explanation
on these facts.
