Every  fifth crime in Kyrgyzstan - murder, and every  tenth – rape.  
 Bishkek. (Agency “AKIpress”) - the prevailing part of the crimes accomplished for 1-st quarter  of 2006, make  murders (21%) ,  deliberate causing of heavy harm to health (15,5%), and rapes (11,6%). The given figures as the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs, have been sounded on April, 18th, 2006 on board of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic.

 Within 1 quarter of  2006 in Kyrgyzstan 7992 crimes are registered, that on 3,6 % more, than for the similar period  of 2005 (7709). Including the quantity heavy and especially grave crimes has increased on 0,9%, against the person - on 8,2%. The number of criminal encroachments on  life and health of people has increased  on 8,2 % and has made 541 (500) crimes.

 3907 persons who have made crimes  are revealed (+8,2%).  Among them 80 % those people,  who have no constant source of  income, i.e. not working and not  studying. Specific gravity of people ,  who have criminal record has made 5 %(6,8%).
