Democratic movement of Uzbekistan demands from authorities of Kyrghyzstan to stop delivery of refugees to a mode of Uzbekistan

BISHKEK (АКIpress) - Democratic movement of Uzbekistan one of these days has distributed the reference to the President of Kyrghyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev, to the prime minister Feliks Kulov, to the speaker of the Zhokorgu Kenesh Marat Sultanov and to ombudsman Tursunbai Bakir uulu.

Also copies are directed to the European Parliament, OSCE and to the Council under human rights of the United Nations.

As it is marked in circulation, in Kyrghyzstan it is observed rolling policies of the management of the country aside cooperation with a dictatorial mode of Islam Karimov in Uzbekistan and followings of a repressive policy of this mode.

The authority of Kyrghyzstan established in the democratic way gradually began to change the rate for an antidemocratic direction which started to find the distinct form after an informal meeting of the presidents Kurmanbek Bakiev and Islam Karimov on July 22, 2006 in Moscow.

« The dictatorial mode in Uzbekistan carries out the repressive policy concerning their citizens and citizens of Kyrghyzstan. Rough infringements of the rights of citizens in Kyrghyzstan on the part of employees of special services of Uzbekistan in the country suppose and encourage local and central authorities of Kyrghyzstan.

We categorically condemn authorities of Kyrghyzstan, special services of Uzbekistan openly allowing employees to break rights of uzbek - refugees in territory of Kyrghyzstan.

Authorities of Kyrghyzstan should respect rights of the religious and refugees from Uzbekistan and immediately to stop infringements of the international agreements on protection of the rights of believers and refugees.

We address to the United Nations, OSCE and EU with the request to promote in restoration of validity and respect of the rights of believers and refugees in Kyrghyzstan. We address to authorities of Kyrghyzstan: Stop delivery of refugees to a repressive mode in Uzbekistan! Do not give I.Karimov's mode violently to destroy the opponents in territory of Kyrghyzstan under the pretext of struggle against terrorism!

All of us together should struggle that Kyrghyzstan could continue the way of development and becoming as the state on basic principles of democracy, under any pretext not deviating from this way. Because of the people of the Central Asia are very important to have in region an island of democracies on behalf of Republic of Kyrghyzstan! », - it is spoken in circulation.
