The heads of special services of Russia and Uzbekistan discussed today, on September, 28, in Moscow questions of perfection of interaction in sphere of struggle against terrorism and displays of extremism, informs ITAR-TASS.
The delegation of Service of national safety (SNS) of Uzbekistan was headed by chairman of SNS general - colonel Rustam Inojatov. At a meeting with a management of Federal security service (FSS) of Russia led by director of FSS Hikolay Patrushev " were discussed questions of a condition and prospects of bilateral cooperation of security service of Russia and Uzbekistan, the further perfection of interaction in sphere of struggle against the international terrorism and other displays of extremism, increase antiterrorist and anti-diversion protection of an infrastructure of thermal power station ". Nikolay Patrushev and Rustam Inojatov signed reports to the interdepartmental Agreement on cooperation and interaction from 1992.
Besides at a taking place meeting the big attention has been given to pressing questions of a safety of military and military - technical cooperation of the Russian Federation and Republic Uzbekistan.
This is already the fourth working meeting of delegation of FSS and SNS. The first has taken place in 2003 in Tashkent, the second - in 2004 in Moscow, the third - last year in Tashkent
