The second day of meeting of opposition in Bishkek: the reporting from a place of events (updated on a regular basis)

On the area Ala - Oii in city centre of Bishkek passes termless meeting of opposition, at present time, a part of holding a meeting was directed to the mayoralty of Bishkek with the requirement of resignation of mayor Arstanbek Nogoev because of obstacles in carrying out of meeting and to State broadcasting company (STRK) with the requirement of translation of protest action, and also granting of an ether to leaders of movement «For reforms!». Besides they are going to demand reforming of STRK into public TV. As our own correspondent from a place of events informs, T.Sariev has addressed to holding a meeting with the request to participate in procession to the mayoralty and STRK not all of them but half of demonstrators. In a procession it is totaled by different estimations from 100 up to 500 person. Other people holding a meeting, approximately 300-400 person, are on the area Ala - Oii near tents where music is now audible.

The entrance in a building of the mayoralty is blocked by militia. The prospectus Chui in part is blocked, and in part free for movement of motor vehicles.

At 14.05 it became known, that approximately 100 person with red bandages moves on the prospectus Chui in the direction of Alamedin akimiat (it is updated).

He has called gathered people to observe the order, informs IA 24.kg. Arstanbek Nogoev has declared, that he supports many requirements of opposition. However has emphasized, that supporters of Movement « For reforms! » Should not talk to authorities in language of ultimatums.

According to deputy of JK KR Melis Eshimkanov, today at 17.00 deputies of city council will gather on an extraordinary session where will consider questions on resignation of mayor of Bishkek Arstanbek Nogoev and safety of capital inhabitants.

In the meantime the column of demonstrators goes to building of STRK, to which will enter some deputies of parliament. The opposition of Kyrgyzstan demands to allocate to it a broadcasting time on the state telechannel, as STRK biassedly transfers the information on meeting, members of Movement «For reforms!" have declared and also they want once again to inform the population about tasks and the purposes of meeting and to call the supporters. « For reforms! » want, that the ether was given them daily at least for thirty minutes or hour. It is possible, that management of STRK will agree to it only under pressure of the public, transfers IA 24.kg.

As our correspondent informs at 14.28 representatives of movement "For reforms!" Melis Eshimkanov, Omurbek Tekebaev, Azimbek Beknazarov, Temir Sariev, Kanybek Imanaliev, Isa Tokoev have come to building of STRK for a meeting with the head of the channel. Other people holding a meeting are in front of building of STRK, approximately in quantity of 500 person. All significant objects in Bishkek are taken under strengthened protection. Among them objects of gas service, a power supply system, school, kindergartens, post offices, and also Bishkek heat-electro-center. Similar measures are accepted by city authorities with a view of a safety of inhabitants of capital, the head of the press-service of mayoralty Danijar Shabdanov informed.

About 14.30 on the area Ala - Oii meeting with participation of leaders of opposition has proceeded. Deputy Temir Sariev informed , that the part of holding a meeting is near building of STRK. They demand, the organization by STRK the live- teletranslation of events on the area Ala - Oii in Bishkek, statements of holding a meeting from a tribune, gave a television studio for leaders of opposition, so that inhabitants of regions of Kyrgyzstan could receive information about an events in Bishkek. Temir Sariev also has sounded the requirement about resignation of mayor of Bishkek Arstanbek Nogoev, who as he said in every possible way interferes the carrying out of meeting of opposition in Bishkek. For example, informs Sariev, in the evening on November, 2 Nogoev did not allow sanctions to installation of biotoilets on the area and did not allow to pass to the area the machines with warm blankets for spending the night for holding a meeting in tents.

Statements of oppositionists alternate with songs in performance of actors of kyrgyz platforms.

Before people holding a meeting deputy of JK Melis Eshimkanov has acted. He has called everyone who is the true citizen of Kyrgyzstan, to join requirements of opposition and to demand resignation of present authority which has not justified hopes of people.

The word was taken by Tursunbek Akun, the chairman of the Commission of Human Rights at president of KR. He has stated sharp criticism to address of president Bakiev, having noted, that from his part he tried to make everything, so that the authority worked for people, instead of against opposition, however frequently the authority did not listen to him.
