14.02.2005 Ambassadors of the KR should not be allowed for position of deputy, but a businessman living in Russia was allowed through bribing. Who got the bribe? The governor of the oblast Sharipov, Chair of CEC – Imanbaev or Akayev or his wife Mairam Akayeva. This is an absolute scandalous case. Batyrov Kadyrjan Alimdjanovich was registered in Barpy district #30 of Jalalabad oblast. Citizens of Jalalabad city sent a letter to the edition. It says that this citizen has a citizenship in Russia and permanent registration to the address Moscow, Proletarskiy prospect, house 17, building 1 and apartment 34. But there he is registered as Botirov Kodirjan Alimjanovich (an error could be done because of translation into Russian). Therefore we sent an inquiry to the department of internal affairs of Moscow. It seems that Batyrov-Botirov – one person with twopassports and two citizenships. The district elections commission and the central elections commission should solve this issue. But, probably they would not want to and they do not need to, because some one got a huge bribe… I will explain why. List of candidates to the deputies on January 24 was published on the site “Akipress”, but it was possible to print only up to district 29. O’k, such things happen technically. List of January 24 that was published on the web site www.gazeta.kg was free to open. But, when there was a necessity to check whether the candidate Kadyrjan Batyrov is included, we found an amazing fact. There is no district #30 in the list at all! There is district 29 and 31, but there is no thirtieth. Only on the site www.kyrgyz.us, in the final list of the candidates to the deputy of JK of February 3, the loss was found. Thus, the CEC decided to hide Batyrov from attention. We received information that “our” Batyrov had a business in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia, owns an airplane, but lately his business did not go well. Then one of the high level authorities promoted his candidacy in the district, where Kurmanbek Bakiev wanted to run. Now, the government is privileging Batyrov. So, such events are occurring here.
