| 26.02.2005 International community knows about swindle concerning above stated websites on behalf of which the governmental channels, in particular the son-in-law of president Akaeva - Adil Toigonbaev through under inspection to him persons distributed false data about leaders of opposition. Recently they have undertaken other meanness having distributed pornography for discredit of a site. Under available data, government of Kyrgyz Republic has sent the letter to ISP with the complaint to deprive the domain. Sites of Ulan Melisbek operatively covered a situation in Kyrgyzstan about infringements of elective process, pressure upon opposition and mass-media, payoffs and many other negative facts. Since there is no now in Kyrgyzstan independent mass media, they in such way try to deprive the foreign internet sites informing about a situation with human rights. The government action is directed on liquidation of a site by discrediting and if it woks then they will undertake the same actions concerning other sites registered in abroad. Physical threats concerning members of U. Melisbek’s family. Since Ulan Melisbek lives in the USA, his relatives living in Kyrgyzstan are exposed to threats. Two days ago unknown persons have called to his mother home at 3am and his brother Rolan Melisbek answered to this call and those people threatened him by telling that his family has bothered them, that soon they will be simply removed, and also offended them in every possible. 2 years ago Rolan was beaten by unknown
people and in result as a result he laid for a long time in hospital
in reanimation branch. Despite of the fact that he had enough money
and he offered to take the money and not to touch him, criminals continued
to beat him. And they told Rolan that his brother has to stop his
activity. Ulan Melisbek’s mother is 60 years old
woman who constantly feels fear because of actions concerning her
children. 2 days prior to elections... All Internet sites are blocked.
